Maalox Reflurapid, Reflux and Heartburn, Gastric Acidity, 40 chewable tablets

Maalox Reflurapid 40 tablets is a gluten-free and lactose-free medical device, formulated to perform 3 synergistic actions: blocking acid reflux, reducing heartburn and protecting the mucosa of the esophagus. It is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and reduces the symptoms related to it, such as: heartburn, heartburn in pregnancy, reflux esophagitis, acid regurgitation, poor digestion, cough and laryngopharyngeal inflammation.

Calcium Carbonate and Potassium Bicarbonate are salts of mineral origin with a buffering action against hyperacidity: they raise the pH of the gastric contents and reduce the acidity level.
In contact with stomach acid, l Sodium alginate reacts by forming a visco-elastic barrier that hinders the ascent of gastric acids towards the esophagus. It is a new generation alginate which has the particular characteristic of acting very quickly. Maalox Reflurapid, thanks to its high viscosity, adheres to the mucosa, creating a barrier that protects the walls of the stomach and esophagus from the aggression of acids, promoting their regeneration.

The package contains 40 chewable tablets, each 1 g, and can also be taken during pregnancy and in case of nocturnal reflux.
For adults and children over 12 years: it is recommended to take 2 or 4 tablets after main meals and at bedtime.
The tablets must be chewed well and it is possible to swallow them with the help of a little water

How to use and intake
Adults and children above over 12 years: 2 or 4 tablets after main meals and at bedtime. The tablets must be chewed well. Their intake can also be followed by the ingestion of water.

Warnings, storage and indications
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Store at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, in a dry place, protected from light and away from heat sources.
