Lithos

LITHOS is a food supplement based on Potassium Citrate, Magnesium and Zinc, useful for integrating these nutrients in case of reduced dietary intake or increased need.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and electrolyte balance.
LITHOS contains Zinc Citrate as a source of Zinc, which contributes to normal acid-base metabolism.
The technological process of manufacturing the tablet allows the prolonged release of nutrients over time.

Dosage
Each LITHOS tablet contains 715 mg of Potassium Citrate, equal to 273.7 mg of Potassium (7 mEq), 274.4 mg of Magnesium Citrate, equal to 42.5 of Magnesium (3 , 5 mEq) for a total of 10.5 mEq of Citrate and 0.75 mg of Zinc.

Directions for use
Unless otherwise indicated by a medical practitioner, yes recommends taking 2 tablets a day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, preferably on a full stomach, swallowing the tablet with a glass of water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of children under the age of 3.
LITHOS is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalaemia or hypermagnesemia, or with conditions that may predispose to the onset of such plasma alterations (such as chronic renal insufficiency and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
The simultaneous intake of LITHOS® and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalaemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the progress of potassium. No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as: abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea may be observed during treatment. These symptoms can be alleviated by taking LITHOS® on a full stomach.
The product could help alkalize the urine.
