Epitact Night Hand Orthosis

INDICATIONS
Wearing the corrective night orthosis daily helps relieve joint pain in the base of the thumb and helps limit the evolution of rhizarthrosis.

FUNCTIONALITY
The EPITACT® keeps the thumb in the rest position by opening the joint between the index finger and the thumb. The alignment of the bones limits the stress on the trapeziometacarpal joint and helps relieve pain. Made to measure as it is thermoformable, the EPITACT® it is very comfortable and during sleep it seems not to have it. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE This product is designed for a night orthosis. It is available in two versions: for the right hand and for the left hand. - THERMOFORMING : Follow the thermoforming instructions provided. The orthosis can be thermoformed more; times if necessary.

POSITIONING :
• Insert the hand into the orthosis by sliding the thumb in the appropriate section.
• Insert the hook and loop strap into the buckle at the base of the thumb,

MAINTENANCE
• Machine wash at 40°C.
• Do not use stain removers such as, for example, acetone, solvent, etc. away.
• Leave to dry naturally. Do not iron. Do not expose to heat (>50 °C).

CONTRAINDICATIONS
• The device is been subjected to all the tests foreseen in accordance with the ISO 10993-1 standard. In case of an adverse reaction, stop using the device immediately and inform the company. Millet Innovation.

• In case of severe oedema: keep hand under control during use. Remove the device if the fixation feels too tight and impedes blood circulation. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
• Do not use in the vicinity of of flames or incandescent objects
