ACIDIF PLUS 14 TABLETS

Food supplement based on L-methionine, dry extract of Ibiscus sabdariffa flowers (UTIROSE - Burgundy) and dry extract of Boswellia serrata leaves (AKBAMAX) titrated at 10% in acetyl keto beta boswellic acids (AKBA). Thanks to its components, it helps to promote correct functionality; of the urinary tract, creating unfavorable conditions for bacterial development and proliferation. Acidif plus is presented in retard gastro-protected tablets with gradual release. There ò optimizes tolerability; and guarantees a constant release of its components over time.
L-Methionine
L-Methionine is part of the essential amino acids and, as such, è an important constituent of the human organism. L-Methionine, which our body does not have; able to produce, but must be introduced from the outside, è the only essential amino acid that contains sulfur in its formula. Availability of L-Methionine (as a sulfur donor) in quantities sufficient, è the necessary condition for the biosynthesis of cysteine, a sulphured amino acid. A large number of Gram-negative bacteria is able to alkalize the urine by enzymatic degradation of urea, thus determining; growth conditions that are advantageous to them. The maintenance of a physiological pH obtained by the action of L-methionine, manages to create unfavorable conditions for bacterial colonization.
Ibiscus sabdariffa
Recent studies have shown that UTIROSE Ibiscus sabdariffa dry extract titrated at 40% in Organic Acids and 50% in Sambubiosides shows a significant effect on the reduction of an initial microbial contamination from both E.coli and Candida albicans. In fact, the particular UTIROSE phytocomplex, characterized by the presence of two molecular components such as Sambubiosides, specific proanthocyanidins, and, the characteristic organic acids, is; been tested for effects on the urinary tract. The results obtained show a 77% reduction in infections due to an & rsquo; activity à antimicrobial that is already manifesting; after a week of treatment.
Boswellia serrata
The international scientific literature shows that AKBAMAX - Boswellia serrata gum resin dry extract is ; able to inhibit some mediators of inflammation, in particular 5-lipoxygenase, with a consequent decrease in the inflammatory response from leukotrienes. By acting on this enzyme, and not on the cyclooxygenases (COX1, COX2) responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins, prostacyclines and thromboxanes, which are also endowed with activity; proinflammatory, the extract titrated in acetyl keto beta boswellic acid è believed to be one of the most natural anti-inflammatories; safe from a toxicological point of view.

We recommend taking one tablet twice a day: 1 tablet in the evening before going to bed and 1 tablet in the morning upon awakening.
