HOW DO YOU OBTAIN THE FISH OIL FROM WHICH THE OMEGA 3s DERIVE?
Caught fish, i.e. sardines , herring, anchovies or wild salmon (not from farms but "wild", in its natural environment), is pressed and squeezed and from here a liquid is obtained which is then inserted into the distiller, from which an ultra-purified and with a high concentration of EPA and DHA. The processes that raw fish oil must go through in order to be defined as ready for consumption are various. With multiple molecular distillation, all free fatty acids, heavy metals, colored compounds and many other impurities are eliminated from fish oil, thus making it purer. The multiple molecular distillation process is a complete purification activity, expensive and complex, and it is precisely the longest and most expensive process of all, which determines the ultimate quality of the fish oil: based on how much a company purifies its oil from all polluting agents, the products obtained will also have a higher percentage of Omega 3 (and it is good to remember that products with very low product concentrations are available on the market. It is therefore important to know how to recognize valid products).

WHICH IS THE BEST?
In the vast market of the world of Omega 3 supplements, there are generally two types of fish oil: those derived from ethyl esters (EE) and those from natural glycerides (triglycerides, TG). The difference between these two types of fish oil essentially depends on different production processes and different characteristics, also in terms of bioavailability. Concentrated oils (derived from EE) are produced through a purification process in which fish oil is reacted with ethanol, the reaction of which forms a synthetic substrate called "Omega 3 fatty acid ethyl ester", rich in ethyl- EPA and ethyl-DHA, and are usually the most widespread.

Our Advanced Omega uses "100% wild caught" fish oil in ultra-purified form and in the form of triglycerides. It comes in the same structure and chemical composition as fish oil is found in nature.
