Xailin Ophthalmic Lubricant Gel 10g

Lubricating gel for ophthalmic use.
Carbomer Gel is a viscous and hypotonic solution containing carbomer 980 at 0.2%.
Carbomer Gel has excellent mucoadhesive properties, lubricates the eye by uniformly coating the corneal and conjunctival surfaces.
Indicated as a lubricating ophthalmic gel to relieve the symptoms of dryness, discomfort, foreign body sensation and mild irritation caused by dry eyes.

How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
Remove the cap by lifting the tab on the warranty seal.
Tilt your head back and slightly pull the lower eyelid of your eye to form a pocket.
Keeping the tube vertically press gently until a drop forms at the end of the tube.
Instill the drop without touching the eye with the end of the tube.
Blink two or three times to distribute the gel evenly over the eye and remove any excess from the eyelids.
Close the tube, being careful not to touch the tip of the tube with any surface (including your fingers).
Instill a drop of product in one or both eyes 3-4 times a day or as needed, based on the discomfort experienced.
The duration of treatment can be extended beyond 30 days after consulting your doctor.

Components
Carbomer 980 2.0 mg, cetrimide 0.1 mg, sorbitol 40.0 mg, sodium hydroxide 0.84 mg, water for injections to taste

Warnings
- Do not use if the tube or safety seal is damaged.
- Do not wear contact lenses while instilling the product.
- After instillation, wait at least 30 minutes before wearing contact lenses again.
- If other products for ophthalmic use are administered, wait at least 5 minutes between one application and another, instilling Carbomer Gel last.
- Do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the tube to avoid scratching the ocular surface or contaminating the product.
- After use, close the cap gently without tightening excessively.
- Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the components.
- For external use only. - Occasionally a mild transient burning sensation, sticky eyelid and blurred vision may occur after instillation of the gel.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
- If the problem does not improve within 2 days or worsens at any time, consult your doctor.
- If the problem persists for more than 30 days, consult your doctor.

Conservation
Store below 30°C.
Post-opening validity: 1 month.
