They are obtained through a filtering process called ultrafiltration, a method that allows the protein to be filtered and separated from the other components. The resulting protein concentrate is between 70%-80%, while the remaining 20% includes water, lactose, fats and minerals: compared to isolated or hydrolysed proteins they have more biologically active fractions and proteins, however at the expense of the lactose and fat which is slightly higher.

Concentrated proteins are very versatile.
