Food supplement of factors with antioxidant action with Coenzyme Q10, Superba ™ Krill oil containing Omega 3 (linked to phospholipids), Vitamins C and E, Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Selenium. Useful in countering the perioxidant action of free radicals, which play a fundamental role in the activation of senescence and cellular degeneration processes.
            Coenzyme Q1
A fat-soluble molecule biosynthesized by the organism. And; a component of all cell membranes and in particular of mitochondrial membranes (mitochondria are intracellular organelles that allow cells to breathe and supply energy to them). Furthermore, due to its capabilities; antioxidants, particularly in its reduced form, are; considered important in delaying the processes of aging and cellular degeneration.
            Superba ™ Krill
Oil extracted from the Antarctic Krill crustacean (Euphausia Superba) containing long-chain polyunsaturated Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) in phospholipid form. Omega 3 are 'essential' fatty acids since our organism is not; able to synthesize them.
Since é phospholipids are the main constituents of cell membranes, the bond with Omega 3 makes them key 'structural' components of cell membranes. EPA and DHA are essential for physiological functionality; at the retinal level.
            Vitamin E
α -tocopherol of lipophilic nature, plays its antioxidant role in counteracting the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids of cell membranes.
            Vitamin C
of water-soluble nature, it plays an antioxidant role since é neutralizes free radicals responsible for cellular oxidative damage; moreover it is; important for the synthesis of collagen in the body.
            Lutein and Zeaxanthin
Carotenoids with properties; antioxidants. They constitute the pigment selectively present in the retina and particularly concentrated in the macula, where they exert a protective mechanism from exposure to the low wavelengths of visible light. Their macular concentration is decreased in patients with Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
            Selenium
Trace mineral essential for l ’ organism, acts mainly as a component of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which works together with Vitamin E in counteracting the damage produced by free radicals to cell membranes; it also delays the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Mode; of use
We recommend taking one capsule a day, to be swallowed with a sip of water at main meals.
