UrgoTul is; indicated for the treatment of acute lesions (burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, post-operative wounds, etc.) and chronic lesions (venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) in the epithelialisation or granulation phase and for the treatment of lesions from epidermolysis bullosa.
UrgoTul È available in packs containing individually divided sterile dressings, ready to use.

UrgoTul is; a non-adhesive, non-occlusive and non-adherent lipid-colloidal dressing, made up of a polyester texture impregnated with hydrocolloid particles (Carboxymethylcellulose CMC) and petroleum jelly. of sterilization

Properties
Lipid-Colloidal Technology (TLC) is a highly specialized method of sterilization. a healing and gelling matrix, an exclusive and patented innovation of Laboratories Urgo.
Its specificity; depends on the polymeric matrix which guarantees the cohesion between the hydrocolloid particles and the petroleum jelly in a polyester mesh.
In contact with the wound exudate, the hydrocolloid particles (CMC) gel and form, in association with the , a lipid-colloidal film that allows:
• the maintenance of a humid environment favorable for healing;
• the stimulation of the proliferation of fibroblasts.
UrgoTul is; of greasy composition, without being greasy to the touch.
It does not adhere nor É to the lesion, nor to the surrounding skin.
The removal of the dressing is easy. painless for the patient and atraumatic for the tissues undergoing regeneration.
Instructions for use
Preparation of the wound
• Clean the wound with a saline solution. If an antiseptic is used first, carefully rinse the lesion with saline before applying UrgoTul.
• Carefully dry the surrounding skin.
• UrgoTul can be cut using sterile scissors to adapt the dressing to the wound.
Applying the dressing
• Remove the protective wings and apply UrgoTul on the lesion.
• Cover UrgoTul with a secondary dressing and fix it with a suitable bandage.
• Apply a compression bandage if needed. been prescribed.
Replacing the dressing
• Change the dressing every 2-4 days (every 1-3 days for patients with epidermolysis bullosa). UrgoTul can be left in situ for up to 7 days depending on the evolution of the lesion.
Precautions
• The sterile protection must be intact before use. Do not use if sterile protection is in place. damaged.
• If clinical signs of local infection are observed, treatment can be continued. replace with an antibacterial dressing (UrgoTul Ag/Silver, UrgoCell Ag), depending on the medical opinion.
• In case of deep lesions or fistulas, a part of the UrgoTul dressing should be left visible to allow for easy removal.
• Disposable single packs: reusing a disposable dressing could expose you to the risk of infection.
• Do not sterilize again.
