Indications:
the plant decreases the frequency of heart contractions and makes them more acute; large, regularizing systolic energy and blood pressure. É for this reason that valerian preparations can be used in the therapy of cardiac neurosis with palpitations and a sense of anguish. Excellent as a sedative in various forms of neurosis, in non-severe forms of hysteria, in the anguish of neurasthenics, in nervous insomnia, in menopausal disorders, as well as in the acute; in some spasmodic affections.
