The Swing Microchip cat flap has a special antenna that detects and decodes the ISO11784 microchip under the skin of your pet, allowing the flap to be unlocked when it approaches. Thanks to its fantastic selective recognition system, therefore, it allows the controlled passage of the animal, preventing the entry of foreign cats.
Simple to program, the cat flap can memorize up to 32 standard ISO11784 microchips, it has been studied and tested to guarantee maximum reliability and great versatility of use. Memorizing the microchip code is quick and easy: simply bring your friend closer and press the appropriate red button to save the code.
Swing Microchip, made of sturdy plastic, can be installed on any structure: wood, glass or wall in masonry.
Attention: for installation on glass, it is advisable to consult a glassmaker before the operation as it is not possible to make holes on tempered safety glass or double glazing unless they have been drilled at the time of manufacturing. For installations on metal doors, it is necessary to insert a wooden gap of at least 5 cm between the door and the metal surface: this is to avoid interference with the door recognition system.

This new model has in common with the Swing doors, the Wind Stopper system of protection against air currents and the particular closure with the 4-way regulator, which allows you to decide whether to leave your cat the freedom to enter and exit, to enter or to exit only or completely block the door. If necessary, it is also possible to disable the cat recognition system and operate the flap in the traditional way.

It is battery operated (with 6 AA batteries) and includes a low battery indicator. Don't be afraid, in case the batteries run out completely, the microchips are kept in memory and it is therefore not necessary to repeat the registration operation.

This door also has a useful indicator of the last step: it is of a small plastic flag that allows you to understand in an instant where your four-legged friend is, whether at home or outside.
If your cat does not already have an implanted microchip, you can use the practical collar with microchip that you will find as a gift in the package.

Finally, as regards the maintenance of the Swing Microchip, periodic cleaning of the plastic door and the infrared sensors with a soft, dry cloth is sufficient located inside the tunnel, to the left and right of the door itself.
