Macrogol 3350, thanks to its affinity with water, helps absorb the water present in the lumen by increasing fecal volume, making stool softer and easier to expel without causing cramps, abdominal pain or emergency conditions. The water-soluble fiber contained in psyllium creates a gel that hydrates the fecal mass. Thanks to this ability, psyllium promotes the regularization of intestinal function, stimulating peristalsis, reducing intestinal transit time and helping with evacuation. The presence of simethicone in the formulation, thanks to its anti-foaming action, is effective in the absorption of gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.

Components
Each sachet contains: macrogol 3350, psyllium and simethicone; excipients: citric acid, sucralose, acesulfame K, flavors (orange and safflower), silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, sunflower lecithin.

How to use
Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 sachet per day.
Adults and children >12 years: 2 sachets per day.
Dissolve each sachet well in a glass full of water and drink immediately.

Warnings
Before using the product in children, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Since psyllium has the ability to create a gel, the product it must be taken between meals with an adequate amount of water (at least a full glass of water, two glasses if possible), to prevent it from swelling in the throat causing choking. It is suggested to drink at least two liters of water a day for adults, and at least 1-1.5 liters a day for children and adolescents. If conditions persist after taking the product, consult your doctor.
Do not take Stipsigol Plus in case of:
- intestinal obstruction or stricture;
- intestinal perforation;
- illness intestinal inflammation.
There is no experience on its intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding, therefore it is recommended to take the product only on medical advice. In patients with renal impairment, it is not necessary to adjust the dosage. Use the product until symptoms resolve. Repeated use may be necessary in cases of refractory or chronic constipation. This type of constipation can be caused by painkillers (opioids) and drugs to treat Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics) or appear in the case of diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's. In these cases, do not take the product for more than thirty consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use the product under six years of age. Do not take after the expiry date.

Storage
Store in a dry place away from direct sources of heat or light. Open the bag only when using.
Keep the device at a temperature below 25 °C.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 36 months.
