Rapid Test Kit 

Rapid test for the qualitative detection of peritonitis in pleural effusion or ascites in cats.
The test is intended for professional use by healthcare professionals.

How to use
Collect samples (ascites or pleural effusion) from cats with a syringe .
Pour 3-5 drops of sample into the tube containing the dye. Collect the mixture with the disposable dropper.
Open the reaction tube and slowly drip a drop of the mixture into the reaction tube. Do not shake the reaction tube or cap the tube as this may affect the test result.
The result will be visible immediately.
Samples/dye mixture should be tested within 30 minutes.

Interpretation of Results
Strongly positive: A floating or teardrop-shaped blue drop appears on the surface of the reaction solution.
Positive: Separated blue drops appear precipitating slowly towards the bottom of the test tube.
Negative: the blue drops gradually disappear and the solution becomes light blue.
Indeterminate: the blue, unstable drops dissolve rapidly in the solution.

Warnings
All devices contained in the box are disposable, do not reuse.
In case of direct contact, the acetic acid solution can lead to severe skin burns or serious eye damage. Please operate with caution.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children and away from pets.

Storage
Store between 15 °C and 25 °C. Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight.
Use tests at humidity levels between 10% and 90%.
Do not use kits beyond the expiration date.

The kit contains:
- 10 reaction tubes, containing acetic acid solution;
- 10 disposable droppers;
- 10 tubes containing dye;
- 1 information leaflet.
