How to identify the right size
For an optimal function of the sock, correct measurement is necessary of the limb: for this purpose, a check by a technician or specialist is recommended. le that the measurements are taken in the morning, when the legs are less oedematous.
THE MEASUREMENTS TO TAKE:
ankle circumference (cB), where it is thinnest. This is the point of maximum pressure.
Circumference of the leg at the highest point of the sock; depending on the model it will be: crotch stocking and tights: circumference at the groin point (cG);
mid-thigh stocking: circumference at the point halfway between the groin and knee (cF);
knee-highs: circumference at the point below the knee (cD).
The length is measured from the base of the foot (a) to the highest point reached by the stocking on the leg, therefore it will be: (lG) crotch stocking and tights;
(lF) mid-thigh stocking;
(lD) for the knee-high.
The Solidea stockings in the therapeutic line are made with highly technological and innovative yarns which retain their exceptional original elasticity over time, which has made it possible to make a change in the concept of therapeutic stockings known up to now on the market.
In the case of limbs that are not particularly oedematous (without excessive swelling) it is also possible to use the SIZE CHART FOR THE WEIGHT/HEIGHT RATIO of the preventive line for choosing the right size.
For limbs increased in volume refer to the circumference table. In this case it is necessary to measure the circumference of the limb in the points indicated above.
