SenSura Mio Convex Flip

SenSura Mio Convex Flip for colostomy with lining with inspectable opening, is a one-piece bag indicated for the collection of excrement from subjects with a colostomy.
Thanks to Bodyfit Technology, the SenSura Mio devices have an elastic adhesive that allows them to adapt perfectly to skin irregularities, offering instant high adhesiveness for as long as necessary , safety during use and skin intact upon removal.
The adhesive is made up of two layers:
- the innermost layer has a special lattice structure, which incorporates small hydrocolloids: on contact with the excrement it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. A protective seal is thus created which reduces the occurrence of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin humidity, favoring tissue repair;
- in the outermost and thinnest layer the elastic capacity of the adhesive allows this layer to adapt perfectly to skin irregularities, offering high instant adhesion and consequent safety in use.
SenSura Mio Convex Flip is a solution for people with protruding abdominal conformation, perfectly and firmly suited to bulges, hernias and curves. The star-shaped petals hug the body without creating folds or wrinkles.
The ring stabilizes the central area so that the stoma has the necessary support. The flat plate is suitable for people with regular abdominal conformation, thanks to the BodyFit™ Technology, it is made up of an elastic adhesive; It has an oval shape and its elastic structure guarantees adhesion, safety, protection of the skin and atraumaticity during removal on all surfaces of the peristomal skin.
It is available both in a cut-out version to the desired size (following the guide printed on the protective mask of the adhesive surface) and in a pre-cut version.
The SenSura Mio range has a turquoise colored adhesive removal tab to make it more visible, and with an easy thumb-shaped grip.

The bag
The bag has a closed bottom and is lined and allows total discretion of the contents.

It is entirely lined with fabric Ökotex for greater comfort in contact with the skin, water-repellent and has an inspectable window on the back for careful monitoring of the stoma and effluents.
The bag is equipped with a circular filtering system. The filter consists of a very large and circular pre-filter area which allows it to block any type of effluent before it comes into contact with the filter membranes. This allows it to be prevented from clogging. The filter is made of activated carbon positioned inside the bag itself, in the front part, under the inspectable pocket and ensures deodorization.

Storage
Storage is recommended storage in the intact original packaging, protected from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
