It  a medical device based on Macrogol 3350, indicated in cases of chronic constipation and in cases of irregular intestine.
Thanks to the osmotic effect of Macrogol 3350, it determines rehydration and softening of the fecal mass by accelerating intestinal transit, promoting peristalsis and facilitating evacuation in a natural way.
It is not absorbed or metabolized in the intestine, does not ferment in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the feces in an unchanged form.

Mode instructions for use
Dissolve the contents of a sachet in a glass (about 120 ml) of water or other liquid. Mix until completely dissolved.
Drink the reconstituted solution. The number of sachets to take can vary. be reconstituted beforehand in the appropriate volume of water and the solution stored in the refrigerator covered, for a maximum of 24 hours. If not used it should be discarded. It is recommended to take Sedapeg between meals.
Take Sedapeg away from taking medications as it by accelerating intestinal transit it could negatively influence their effectiveness.

Dosage
Shock therapy in case of constipation: from 6 months to 2 years: half a sachet - 2 sachets per day. From 2 to 4 years: 2-3 sachets per day. Over 5 years: 3-4 sachets per day.
Take for a maximum of 5 days. Maintenance therapy: from 6 months to 2 years: half a sachet - 1 sachet per day. From 2 to 4 years: 1 sachet per day.
Over 5 years: 2 sachets per day. Maximum therapy cycle of 28 days.

Macrogol 3350, fructose, flavour, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.

Warnings
The use of Sedapeg must be considered a complementary and temporary treatment to be associated with a healthy lifestyle and a varied and balanced diet appropriate for constipation. In the case of other therapies in progress, consult your doctor before taking Sedapeg.
Do not continue treatment beyond 28 days. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 sachets per day.
The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Read the package leaflet carefully.
For pregnant or breastfeeding women and children, it is recommended to consult your doctor.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
