Food supplement based on Orocyan & reg;, highly purified extract of Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) and Pomegranate (Punica granatum). Thanks to the phytocomplexes it contains, it can promote the physiological well-being of the urinary tract.
Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Main use of Cranberry consists in the prevention of recurrent infections of the urinary tract, in virt ù of the high content of Proanthocyanidins. It is known that uropathogenic bacteria, colonizing the epithelium of the bladder, facilitate the subsequent development of an infectious process, thanks to their capacity; adhesive of P fimbriae, filaments present on the walls of uropathogenic bacteria. È It has been shown that the Proanthocyanidins extracted from Blueberry (PACs A and not PACs B) are responsible for the inhibition of the capacity; adhesive of the type P fimbria, thus blocking the bacterial adhesion process to the uroepithelial cells. Cranberry extract è in addition able to lower the urinary pH, making it even more; it is difficult for uropathogens to take root.
Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.)
Beneficial property attributable to Pomegranate are for the most part related to its content rich in phenolic substances, especially Ellagic acid, with a high antioxidant power, phytoestrogens. Orocyan: highly purified extract of cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon); Pomegranate extract (Punica granatum).

Methods à for use
As an adjuvant to drug therapy after an episode of acute cystitis: 2 sachets 2 times a day for seven days. As a dietary compendium in the prevention of recurrence of cystitis: 1 sachet 2 times a day (even in a single administration) for seven days a month. It should be taken by dissolving the sachet in plenty of fresh water, preferably between meals and with an empty bladder (for example in the evening before going to bed). During the use of Rubis, it is recommended to take an abundant amount; of water (1.5-2 liters per day) to favor the elimination of any bacteria present, with an adequate urinary flow.

Warnings
Do not take during pharmacological treatments with oral anticoagulants (Vitamin K antagonists eg Warfarin-Cumadin). As a precaution, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended. Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
