Ripagel Vet Sterile Ophthalmic Hydrogel Veterinary Use 10ml

Hydrogel, sterile, isotonic, consisting of an association at 1 .2% long-chain high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. It contains cyclodextrin and povidone iodide (PVP-I).
Thanks to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid in general and the presence of the cross-linked acid, it is able to increase the adhesion time to the cornea, thus favoring and accelerating the natural process of healing.
Modulates the repair process and at the same time keeps the ocular surface sanitized due to the presence in the formulation of a low but effective concentration of PVP-I.
Indicated in the repair of the ocular surface and in the re-capitalization of the corneal lesions caused by trauma, foreign bodies, rubbing, inflammation, infections and also more generally in alterations of the tear film.
It can be used in all cases of very deep ulcers and also in chronic idiopathic superficial ones.

How to use
Wash your hands carefully.
Remove the bottle from the cardboard case and remove the plastic safety seal on the neck of the bottle.
Unscrew the cap.
With your non-dominant hand, hold and support the animal's head by tilting it slightly backwards. With the other hand, hold the bottle in a vertical position above the eye with the tip pointing downwards.
Instill 1 or 2 drops of hydrogel into the eye to be treated, slightly squeezing the plastic bottle and taking care to do not touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
The suggested dosage is 1 or 2 drops in the eye to be treated, 3 times a day or according to the opinion of the veterinary surgeon in relation to the severity of the corneal trauma.< br />
Warnings
Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.
Do not use the product if specific hypersensitivity to one of the components.
Do not ingest the product.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Keep the product protected from light and heat sources at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Do not use after the shelf life indicated on the box.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 24 months.
Post-opening shelf life: 28 days.
