Description
Food supplement based on folic acid. For women of age fertile, in anticipation of pregnancy, the supplementary intake of folic acid è useful for increasing the state of maternal folate which, if low, is a risk factor for developing neural tube defects in the fetus *; it also contributes to the growth of maternal tissues. More in general, folic acid intervenes in the cell division process, helps strengthen the immune system, reduce tiredness and fatigue and maintain normal psychological function. It also intervenes in the synthesis of amino acids, in the metabolism of homocysteine and in hematopoiesis, that is; in the formation and maturation of all blood cells.
* Beneficial effect obtainable with a daily intake of 400 mcg of folic acid per day, to be started at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
Product suitable for vegans. It does not contain alcohol, preservatives, dyes, synthetic sweeteners and natural flavors.
