Topical gel treatment for the treatment and prevention of hyperkeratosis, skin plaques and related symptoms (itching, erythema, eczema) in patients suffering from psoriasis localized on the skin and scalp. Highly concentrated urea (40%), suitably stabilized and conveyed, acts as a skin exfoliant and exerts an important hydrating and emollient effect.
