Complementary Feed for Dogs

PRO-KOLIN ADVANCED   is a palatable dietary supplementary feed in paste, intended for particular purposes nutritional with stabilizing microorganisms of the intestinal flora and various prebiotic sources, for the stabilization of physiological digestion in dogs and cats.
The new formula avan zata contains an optimal level of binding agents and fibers to support the gastrointestinal function in case of risk of digestive disorders and periods in which these disorders are present.
Add to the daily diet as indicated in the table (see attachment).
It is recommended to use Pro-Kolin Advanced for 2-3 days and continue by combining the Synbiotic DC complementary feed rich in prebiotics and probiotics for complete support of the gastrointestinal tract functionality.

PRO-KOLIN Advanced

PROBIOTICS
Pro-Kolin Advanced contains the probiotic bacterium Enterococcus faecium (NCIMB 10415) 4b1707, registered in the European Union. Enterococcus faecium is able to survive through the digestive tract for maximum efficacy, supporting the intestine to maintain a good level of beneficial bacteria and limit non-beneficial species.
PREBIOTICS
The Prebiotic Preplex is a combination of two different types of prebiotics: fructooligosaccharide (FOS) and acacia (gum arabic).
This unique combination supports the growth of beneficial bacteria in different parts of the digestive system:
Proximal colon - FOSs contribute to maintaining colon health as they are not digested by enzymes in the small intestine.
In the colon, FOS are rapidly fermented by some beneficial bacteria (Bifidobacterium spp. And Lactobacillus spp.) Which in this way increase of number.
Distal colon - Acacia gum has a strongly branched appearance and complex structure so that it ferments more slowly in the distal colon.
PECTIN
Pectin is a soluble fiber that comes and rapidly fermented in the colon.
Besides being an effective prebiotic, it also has a soothing effect on the intestinal lining.
PSYLLIUM
Psyllium is a soluble dietary fiber that has the ability to absorb water in excess in the gastrointestinal tract to form a viscous, gel-like substance.

BINDING SUBSTANCES
Pro-Kolin Advanced contains some types of clay as a binder to support normal digestive function.
Different forms of clay have different properties that affect their absorption and adsorption capacity:

ABSORPTION   â € “excess liquid present within the gastrointestinal tract penetrates the clay molecule.

ADSORPTION   â € “is the ability to bind compounds such as bacteria, viruses and enterotoxins on the outer surface of the clay molecule.
L â € ™ combined use of kaolin with excellent absorbency and montmorillonite with high adsorbing power, guarantees an optimal balance between absorption and adsorption, providing a double advantage for the animal.
BETA-GLUCANS
I beta-glucans are able to support the innate immune system.
Immune cells such as macrophages, are equipped with dectin-1 receptors that recognize and respond to beta-glucans resulting in an increase in antimicrobial activity, an improvement in defense cellular and disease resistance.4,5

TAURINE
Present only in Pro-Kolin Advanced for cats
It is an essential amino acid for cats and is necessary to support many physiological processes such as vision, digestion, heart muscle function and maintenance of a healthy immune system.
Home diets, which may be recommended for cats with digestive disorders, are often deficient in taurine.
Pr o-Kolin Advanced for cats provides a valid support to maintain good levels of taurine during the whole period in which it is necessary to resort to such diets.
