Posiforlid Eye Mask

Medical device used for the home treatment of eye disorders due to blepharitis ( inflammation of the eyelid margin), meibomian gland dysfunctions (blockage or functional alteration of the meibomian glands), sty and chalazion.
The self-heating eye mask ensures rapid and lasting relief from disorders due to instability; of the tear film, such as dryness, fatigue, burning or excessive tearing of the eye.
After being activated by the click of the metal discs, the eye mask heats up to a suitable and constant temperature. The heat produced by the gel contained in the mask heats the cotton pads, generating a warm and delicate steam that is evenly distributed around the eyes.
Moist heat:
- unblocks the ducts of the meibomian glands by gently softening hardened secretions and favoring its expulsion thanks to massaging movements on the eyelids. The clean and patent ducts of the meibomian glands normally distribute lipids making the tear film more; stable.
- softens the crusts present on the eyelid margin facilitating their elimination and reducing the risk of loss of eyelashes. The heat improves the blood circulation of the eyes by accelerating the healing process of sty and chalazion.

Modality; of use
Remove the bag and throw it in the trash. If the bag is; accidentally broken, first clean the mask thoroughly as instructed.
Wash your hands with soap and water before and after each use. Remove any contact lenses and remove eye make-up. Do not use makeup, creams or lotions while wearing the mask. Apply any medicated creams or eye drops only after removing it.
The eye mask is; ready for use when the orange content is; liquid. If the contents still have a solid consistency, similar to that of ice, follow the instructions to boil it and make it ready for use.
Using the eye mask together with cotton pads ensures a humid and pleasant temperature. Use new, clean cotton pads for each treatment (not included).

The orange gel in the gel pouch must be liquid (soft and flexible). If the mask is; hard as ice, follow boiling instructions.
Moisten two cotton pads with tap water. Insert them so that the cotton pads are exactly in front of the oval windows. Close the snap button of the eyepiece mask.
Do not use the eyepiece mask without cotton pads as it é the high temperature could burn the skin.
To activate the mask, act on the two metal discs inserted in the openings of the mask to make them snap. With both hands, hold the single disc still and 'fold' it until it clicks into place. The liquid orange content solidifies and heats up. Massage the orange liquid to even out the temperature on the whole mask making it more; soft and flexible. The temperature of the heating mask reaches approximately 45 ° C. After about 5 minutes, the heat gradually decreases. Apply the eye mask with the side of the cotton pads over the eyes and place the ribbon around the head. Adjust the ribbon to make it comfortable. Do not expose your eyes to excessive pressure. Allow the pleasant heat released by the mask to act on the eyes for 5-7 minutes.
Cleaning the eyelids is; an important phase. Remove the cotton pads from the eye mask, then use them to massage and clean the eyelid margins as follows: massage the upper eyelid 5 to 10 times, moving from top to bottom over the entire eyelid. Then massage the lower eyelid 5 to 10 times, moving from bottom to top over the entire eyelid. Finally, clean the edges of the eyelids again with new, moistened cotton pads. Discard the cotton pads after use.

- In the presence of a chalazion: use the mask 4-5 times a day. Thanks to the heat, the secretion of the meibomian glands becomes more; fluid. The gentle massage around the area with a clean finger promotes the expulsion of sebum from the glands. Do not squeeze or not make a chalazion burst but perform a massage in the direction of the eye to favor the slow expulsion of the fluidized sebum in small quantities; from blocked sebaceous glands. The growth therefore tends to progressively regress.

- In the presence of a sty: use the mask 4-5 times a day to accelerate its maturation. It is not; necessary to massage the sty. Do not try to crush or pop the sty, this; it could spread infection into the eyelid. As soon as the boil ruptures, the ailments disappear. However, it can; it also happens that the swelling persists, without causing pain. Subsequently, it tends to stabilize and encapsulate, and then evolve into chalazion.

Boiling after use: remove the wrapping, the elastic headband and discard the cotton pads. Remove the gel bag from the mask and place it in a clean pot (about 2 liters). When the water boils, lower the heat for 10 minutes until all the crystals are completely dissolved and return the contents of the orange gel bag to a liquid state.
Use a skimmer or a large spoon to dip the mask into the liquid. ; water and then extract it. Do not use a fork or knife as it é could damage it. Remember to set a timer.
After boiling: put the mask on clean kitchen paper and let it cool for 30 minutes.

Warnings
