Disposable medical device useful for the treatment of constipation.

Indications
PediaPEG® is a medical device in powder form for extemporaneous oral suspension with laxative action, useful in cases of occasionally irregular intestine and for the treatment of chronic constipation.

Composition
each sachet of PediaPEG® contains 6.563 g of Macrogol 3350. Excipients: silicon dioxide, flavouring, sodium saccharin.

Warnings
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in original packaging. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in intact packaging. Do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the packaging and sachet. Do not use in case of damaged packaging. Do not reuse partially used or opened envelopes at an unknown time, as this method of use could lead to risks of product contamination. Keep out of reach of children.

How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, it is it is advisable to use PediaPEG® according to the following methods:
children from 2 to 6 years (weighing >10 kg): 1 sachet per day;
children from 7 to 11 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day;< br />from 12 years: 2 sachets 1-3 times a day. In case of prolonged use it can be reduce the dose to 2-4 sachets per day.
It is recommended to dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 62.5 ml (about half a glass of still water). The use of PediaPEG® is not recommended for children under 2 years of age and weighing less than 10 kg.
Thanks to its affinity for water PediaPEG® It softens the stool, facilitating evacuation, and does not cause cramps, abdominal pain or emergency conditions. PediaPEG® it is not absorbed at the intestinal level and is expelled in an unchanged form.
