Description
Ear spray to treat inflammation/eczema of the ear canal.
It is used to treat otitis external, e.g. in relation to periods of frequent contact with water and/or humid environments.
Mode instructions for use
Keep the bottle in an upright position. Before using the spray for the first time, pump a few times to obtain an even spray.
Hold the tip of the nozzle against the external ear canal and pump once or twice. Spray once or twice into the ear canal, morning and evening. Tilt your head after spraying so the fluid flows as much as possible. as far into the ear canal as possible. Wipe away excess liquid.
If the condition does not improve significantly within 1-3 days, consult a doctor.
Components
Aluminum acetate and aluminum acetotartrate (1.8% of aluminium), acetic acid, water, pH 3-4.
Warnings
Otinova must not be used if there is If you have a drainage tube or if you suspect that the eardrum is perforated.
Otinova should not be used by children aged less than 5 years, unless recommended by a doctor (eardrum check).
Seek medical attention if you experience marked discomfort, tenderness or pain. in and around the ear and if hearing is impaired. compromise.
In case of severe discomfort, avoid contact with water and do not tease the ear with your fingers. Also avoid soap and shampoo.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Avoid inhaling the spray. Keep out of the reach of children.
Otinova can cause a temporary mild irritation/burning sensation in the ear canal. If the irritation/burning sensation persists or worsens, contact a doctor. Rare cases of hypersensitivity have been reported. local. Individual cases of perforated eardrum have occurred in association with extreme salt precipitation in high doses for continuous periods of more than 20 days. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
In case of overdose and/or prolonged use, salt precipitation and severe dehydration of the ear canal may occur.
Do not use Otinova for a continuous period exceeding 7 days .
Storage
Store at room temperature.
Do not use after the expiry date, which is shown on the packaging.
Validity post-opening: 6 months.
