Onyster Pasta Di Urea
CE medical device, class I, recommended in the field of topical treatment of mycosis of the fingernails and toenails. Thanks to the composition based on 40% urea, Onyster weakens only the parts of the diseased nail (due to the fungus) which ensure the adherence of the nail to the nail bed. This weakening allows the selective detachment of the diseased part of the nail, facilitating its cutting and therefore its removal, in preparation for the subsequent antifungal treatment.
Modality À of use
Apply once a day on the infected nail the quantity À of ointment necessary to cover the entire surface. Protect with an occlusive patch for 24 hours.
Repeat the application of the ointment and replace the patch every day, after removing the excess ointment from the previous application. Depending on the extent of the infection and the thickness of the nail, 1 to 3 weeks of treatment are required.
After 1-3 weeks of treatment, it is recommended to go to a healthcare professional for cutting with scissors nails of the softened and detached part of the nail. Once the infected part of the nail has been removed, the antifungal treatment must be continued.
Warnings
Do not use È hypersensitive (allergic) to one of the components. In the absence of data, È It is preferable not to use Onyster in conjunction with other topical products. Do not use the product without consulting a healthcare professional. In case of hypersensitivity reaction (allergy), stop application and inform your doctor. Do not swallow. Do not use on broken skin. Wash hands after use. Do not apply near the eyes or on mucous membranes. The patches are for single use only and must not be reused.
