Sodium bicarbonate, considering its capacity; to eliminate acids, it is frequently administered in the presence of heartburn, gastritis, peptic ulcers and whenever it is necessary to alkalize the urine or other body fluids.

Modality; of use
As an antacid: half a teaspoon of coffee; dissolved in half a glass of water.
For gargle and nasal wash: dissolve a teaspoon in water.
For foot baths: two tablespoons dissolved in a liter of water.
