Nestlè Alfamino Powder Food From Birth 400g

Alfamino is a food for special medical purposes based on 100% free, non-allergenic amino acids. Alfamino is indicated in cases of severe cow's milk protein allergy (CMA) and contains two oligosaccharides also present in human milk (HMO) in comparable quantities. It is a nutritionally complete food and can be used as the sole nutritional source up to 6 months of age. Gluten and lactose free.

Indications
Alfamino is indicated for the feeding of infants and children with severe cow's milk protein allergy (CMA). Facilitates digestion and absorption of nutrients.
Alfamino is specifically formulated for nutrition in cases of:
-Acute and chronic diarrhea in infants in the first months of life
-Allergy to cow's milk and soy proteins with lactose intolerance and malabsorption  
-Post-surgical intestinal syndromes or defedating pathologies 
-Cystic fibrosis, celiac disease, inflammatory intestinal diseases 
-Refeeding after necrotizing enterocolitis 
-Enteral feeding and weaning from parenteral nutrition 
-Eosinophilic esophagitis  
-Gastroesophageal reflux  
-Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders  
-Atopic dermatitis  
-Enterocolitis induced by food proteins

Doses and preparation
The recommended quantities must be evaluated on the basis of a thorough and continuous assessment of the patient's needs by the pediatrician. Prepare only one bottle at a time and administer immediately, never store leftover Alfamino^® in the bottle.
