CE 0476 medical device for nasal irrigation, indicated for daily hygiene by showering the nasal mucosa, in order to prevent obstructions due to stagnation of phlegm secretions or for those who suffer from difficulty respiratory problems due to pathologies such as: colds, coughs, sinusitis, post-operative conditions, otitis, asthma, bronchitis, nasal polyposis, allergens or caused by environmental contamination such as dust, smoke or fumes. Adjuvant in the treatment of nocturnal nasal obstruction.

Intended use
The device allows the drainage of nasal passages by gravity. or manual pressure, the sterile and pyrogenic (isotonic) physiological solution contained in 250 or 500 ml bags, inside the cavities nasal (upper airways). This device has at one end an irrigating nozzle which directs the jet of physiological solution towards the meatuses of the cavities nasal cavities, exerting a powerful cleansing action in the nasal cavities. themselves and in the nasopharynx, favoring the removal to the outside of all secretions, dust, allergens and chemical substances that may be present.

Dosage
For adults and children ( over 3 years) we recommend 1 to 2 irrigations per day or according to different medical specifications.

Instructions for use
• Carefully remove the first protective bag from the bag.
• Warm the bag with the solution to approximately 30-35°C, immersing it in hot water. Then remove the protective cap by unscrewing it.
• Attach the suction cup to a smooth surface above the sink.
• Open the package containing the device.
• Lower the roller wheel until the tube is completely occluded.
• Remove the cap and firmly screw the male fitting of the device. Holding the connection between your fingers, with the other hand break the fracture cone (arrowhead part) to activate the bag-device connection.
• Hang the bag on the suction cup, fixing it appropriately.
• Tilt your head forward over the sink in the lowest position. low compared to the shoulders.
• Bring the irrigator nozzle to your nose and press gently on the nostril. Breathe through your mouth throughout the treatment.
• Raise approximately halfway. the roller wheel then adjust it so that the solution flows gently without going down the throat.
• About halfway through treatment, possibly change nostril.

Materials
This device, supplied in a single sterile blister, is consisting of:
- n° 1 male Luer lock fitting in ABS; for connection to bags (female Luer lock fittings);
- n° 1 NO-DOP soft PVC pipe (without Phthalates), diameter 3.5 x 5.5 x 500 mm;
- n° 1 roller (body + small wheel) in PP; for tube / flow adjustment;
- n° 1 dispenser / nozzle in ABS.
