Hollister Moderma Flex Ceraplus Open Convex Ileostomy Bag Cut Out Window 15-38mm 30 Pieces

The Moderma Flex Convex open pouch with Lock'N Roll is a one-piece medical device, indicated for the collection of stools for inverted or flat stools.

Technical characteristics
The bag is equipped with:
- square anatomical design plate with rounded corners, dimensions approximately 100x100 mm, ensures maximum flexibility and adaptability of the plate to the contours of the body, to the advantage of comfort and adherence, against the risk of infiltrations
- convex profile, depth of approximately 4.5 mm, atraumatic, with anatomically designed design for uniform pressure over the entire affected area
- CeraPlus hydrocolloid with adhesive edge, contains ceramide, ideal for helping the peristomal skin to remain healthy and to prevent transepidermal water loss (transepidermal water loss)
- Hollister synthetic adhesive (perimeter), facilitates application by ensuring immediate adhesion and improves safety in use
- film of transparent protection with tab and cutting guide, facilitates inspection, preparation and application of the hydrocolloid
- 4-layer Quiet Film laminate, anti-rust, anti-odor, soft and delicate in contact with the skin
- ComfortWear TNT (non-woven fabric) covering present on both sides or only on the body side in the transparent, soft, breathable article, does not retain moisture, and dries easily. Skin-coloured for greater discretion
- with window: in opaque articles, curved slit in the non-woven fabric which allows the patient or nurse to check the stoma and facilitates the correct positioning of the bag. The window flaps are welded together and will only open with slight tension. Opening the window will in no way allow water to enter the collection bag during a bath or shower
- 100% activated carbon AF300 filter, 300 mm2 active surface protected by two special Gore membranes gas permeable material, impervious to oils and liquids (Hollister Incorporated patent) located in the apical area to allow full use of the bag, prevents swelling, prevents leaks, does not require a filter cover
- integrated Lock'n Roll Microseal closure (roll up and close) with integrated external micro-adherent closure/opening bars (Hollister Incorporated patent)
- elastic flange for belt, with easy attachment, combines maximum comfort with greater safety.

How to use
It is recommended to keep the bag in place for 12 to 48 hours.

Composition
The plate is composed of its parts as follows:
- CeraPlus hydrocolloid: PIB, CMC, Pectin, Gelatin and Ceramides made with Remois Technology
- writable protective film in PE
- polymeric support film of hydrocolloid
- convex insert in PE.
The bag is composed of its parts as follows:
- ComfortWear lining in TNT in Spunbond PE
- multilayer polymer film in EVA, PVDC and Cl LDPE
- integrated Lock'n Roll Microseal closure made of PE.
The AF300 filter is composed of its parts as follows:
- 100% activated carbon in incinerated viscose + function activators deodorant with active surface area 300 mm2
- internal and external Gore e-PTFTE membranes
- EMA protection capsule.
Latex-free.
DEHP, DBP and BBP-free .

Warnings
There are no known contraindications to the use of this device.
It does not require any particular disposal protocols. In the presence of institutional procedures/provisions, refer to the specific precautionary rules for handling.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
The product is valid for 3 (three) years from the date of production, the expiry date is indicated on the packaging.
