Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with regurgitation. Mellin AR 2 is obtained through an exclusive process and is integrated with carob seed flour, which promotes viscosity of the product.

Mode instructions for use
Before preparation, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring. Boil the quantity of water needed and pour it into the bottle when it is full. lukewarm. To obtain a well-leveled measuring cup, after filling it, eliminate the excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife. Add level measuring spoons of powder following the instructions in the Average Feeding Table. Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder. Wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the wrist.

The table is indicative, the dosage can be be modified according to the opinion of the pediatrician, based on the needs of the infant.

Warnings
Follow the instructions carefully: a preparation and modality inadequate storage could pose a risk to the health of the infant. The product must be used under the supervision of a pediatrician. The product is indicated for infants from the sixth month to the twelfth month of life and cannot be be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for premature infants. Important: Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and should be favored and used as long as possible. It is recommended to prepare milk only at meal time. Do not heat or boil milk once prepared. Do not reuse any leftover prepared product. Use only the measuring cup contained in the package.

Storage
Store in a dry, clean place away from heat sources. Once opened, the package must be closed correctly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
Validity with intact packaging: 18 months.
