Hydrophilic urinary catheter, disposable, self-lubricating, for intermittent catheterization. The surface of the catheter is made with Urotonic Surface Technology: the combination of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and salt (NaCl) combined with the addition of water, makes the coating of the LoFric catheter isotonic with urine, after activation. Sterilized with Ethylene Oxide.
All LoFric catheters can be connected to standard urine collection bags.

Warnings
The LoFric catheter is designed to be used in the laboratory. single use. Once used, the unique surface coating deteriorates and the catheter is not sealed. more sterile. The risks associated with reuse can be: increased adherence, pain, bleeding, urinary tract infections and long-term strictures and epididymitis.
Storage
Shelf life date from the production date, in unopened package: 42 months.
Format
Box containing 30 catheters. Each catheter is packed in single blister consisting of laminated paper, polypropylene (PP) film and polyethylene (PE).
