Liberino Nasal Drops

Sterile physiological solution, ready to use, indicated for the removal of mucus or secretions and restoration of the physiological state of the nose of newborns, children, adults and in aerosol therapy.
Liberino frees the nose of newborns from the mucus that often blocks it and therefore facilitates feeding and sleeping for infants. It is indicated for the removal of mucus or secretions and restoration of the physiological state of the nose of children who are unable to clean it properly.
It promotes the elimination of excessive nasal secretions and, with the concomitant humidifying action, remedies dryness of the respiratory tracts of both children and adults.
Liberino can also be used for external eye hygiene. In this case, use a cotton wool ball moistened with the contents of a vial to gently cleanse the outside of the eye, keeping the eyelids lowered.

Components
Sodium chloride E.Ph. 45.0 mg, Water ppi 5.0 ml.

How to use
Newborns: instill a few drops into the nostrils before feeding.
Children: instill a few drops into the nostrils 1-3 times a day.
Adults: 1-3 ampoules per day, distributing the contents between the two nostrils.
For newborns, open the vial by rotating the top. Keeping the baby's head tilted to the right, gently insert the nozzle of the vial just inside the left nostril. Press the vial on the sides and release the necessary amount of liquid. Recline the baby's head to the left and repeat the operation for the other nostril. Raise the baby's head and dry the liquid that comes out of the nostrils.
For children and adults, before blowing the nose, wait a few seconds to allow the action to take place.
Close the vial by pressing the upper part on the spout.
For aerosol therapy:
- as a thinner for secretions: follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the aerosol device;
- to dilute medicines: follow the instructions on the packaging of the medicine to be diluted.

Warnings
Once the vial has been opened and closed, after partial removal of the contents, it must be put back in the case and stored in a cool place, used within 48 hours. If used with a drug, follow the instructions in the drug's information leaflet.
For use in aerosol therapy, do not use in patients suffering from serious respiratory or cardiovascular pathologies.
It does not contain preservatives and therefore can also be used for long periods.
