Description Libenar Isotonic Solution 60x5ml
Sterile 0.9% isotonic saline solution in disposable vials for the hygiene of the nose, eyes and ears.
Also indicated for cleansing wounds and for inhalation in aerosol form.
Suitable for newborns, children and adults.
For nose hygiene: by instillation or cleansing (washing) in case of stuffy nose or dry nose.
For eye hygiene: by instillation, cleansing or bath.
For ear hygiene.
For cleaning wounds.
For inhalation in aerosol therapy.
How to use
strong>Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
Detach a vial and unscrew the top to open it.
For nose and eye hygiene
The product can be used every day for the hygiene of the nose and eyes, from 1 to 6 cleansings per day, as needed.
- For the hygiene of the nose: by instillation or cleaning (washing) in case of a stuffy nose or a dry nose.
Tilt your head to the side.
Carefully insert the tip of the vial into the nostril and press lightly on the vial.
Repeat the operation for the other nostril.
/> Return the head to an upright position to allow the mucus to drain, then remove the excess.
Do not blow your nose violently during the 10 minutes following administration of the product.
In newborns, instill the product applying minimal pressure to avoid any risk of contamination of the middle ear.
- For eye hygiene: for instillation, cleansing or bathing.
Squeeze a few drops of the solution into each eye.
Remove excess liquid with sterile gauze. Do not put the single-dose vial in contact with the surface of the eye. If you use another eye product, start by using the isotonic vials then wait 15 minutes before instilling the other product.
The solution can be used with contact lenses.
For ear hygiene
Rinsable. For correct ear hygiene, after using a surfactant solution for ears, use the product to drag out the solubilized earwax sediments and rinse the external ear canal.
A single vial can be used for both ears.
Remove excess liquid with gauze.
For cleaning wounds
Rinse the wound using all the solution contained in the vial.
Remove excess liquid only from healthy skin.
/> Do not put the vial in contact with the surface of the wound.
For inhalation in aerosol therapy
If the solution is used as a solvent for inhalation in aerosol therapy, refer to the instructions on the product to be inhaled.
/> If the solution is used alone, refer to the instructions displayed on the aerosol therapy device.
Seek medical advice if using for the first time or in case of respiratory hypersensitivity.
Components
Sodium chloride 0.9 g, purified water to taste in 100 ml.
Warnings
Single and personal use.
After opening, use the single-dose vial immediately and throw away.
Do not use the same single-dose vial for different uses.
Not suitable for injections.
Do not use after the sell-by date expiry.
Do not use if the single-dose vial is damaged.
Do not put the single-dose vial in contact with the eye or the wound surface.
Keep out of reach of children.
The opened single-dose vial must not be reused: since the product does not contain preservatives, reuse of this product may involve the risk of administering a contaminated solution.
