Benefit No. 1 of IMMUNGUM: the vitamin D3 is administered sublingually and absorbed from the oral mucosa and not from the intestine. Vitamin D3 reaches the bloodstream directly through the ventral surface of the tongue and the base of the mouth:

Another novelty is the use of biodegradable rubber at 100%. Unlike other chewing gums, IMMUNGUM does not contain plastic materials, but an organic, 100% biodegradable rubber base. It is sweetened and flavored with xylitol and stevia. The tree grows in the tropics of Central America, where the sap is harvested using sustainable methods. Tree populations are protected because they make an important contribution to climate protection as they store CO2.

Ingredients
Sweetener: xylitol; natural chewable mass (from the chicle tree "manilkara sapota"), natural flavors (mint), thickener: gum arabic; humectant: glycerol; anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate; sweetener: steviol glycosides from Stevia Rebaudiana leaves, glazing agent: carnauba wax, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).

Recommended consumption
Take 1 chewing gum per day. One chewing gum provides 500% of the recommended daily intake of the vitamin (1000 IU). Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
