Description
Hypertonic ophthalmic solution for the treatment of corneal edema that occurs following a mechanical, toxic, dystrophic or inflammatory damage.
By making the lcarima hypertonic, it draws, by osmotic effect, excess water from the corneal tissue, reducing the edematous state.
Indicated for:
- visual discomfort, burning , ocular irritation caused by corneal edema;
- in case of abnormal accumulation of fluids caused by corneal edema, in the presence or absence of inflammation or blunt trauma after refractive or ophthalmic surgery, cataracts, transplants, detachments of the retina, corneal transplants, decompensations of the corneal endothelium and in all dystrophic, mechanical, toxic and inflammatory decompensations of the cornea.
Modalities instructions for use
1. Open the bottle and remove the protective cap.
2. Gently squeeze the bottle and instill 2 drops in each eye; repeat the operation as needed.
Components
Riboflavin sodium phosphate (0.075%), sodium chloride (5%), vitamin E TPGS, sodium hyaluronate, L- proline, L-glycine, L-leucine, L-lysine hydrochloride, dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, purified water.
Without preservatives.
Warnings
- The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- The product is single patient use.
- Do not use in cases of recognized intolerance or hypersensitivity. to its components.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date.
- In case of problems during use, stop treatment and consult a doctor.
- While applying the product, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the dispenser.
- The expiry date is refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
- The solution may stain surfaces and tissues.
- In rare cases, phenomena of corneal microcalcifications have been found in patients with previous corneal pathologies and treated with ophthalmic preparations containing phosphates. In this case we recommend using the product under the supervision of your doctor.
Storage
Store away from heat sources and in any case at temperatures below 25 °C.
After use, close the bottle immediately; the remaining content can be reused for up to three months after opening.
