Kaloidon Tio2 Sun Spf 50+ Cream 50ml

Advanced cream formulation which, thanks to its components, helps to improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, skin thickening and/or keloids) secondary to surgical interventions or harmful insults of various nature.
The silicone components contained in Kaloidon TiO2 form a gaspermeable, flexible and water-impermeable film, which promotes the correct level of skin hydration; furthermore, the presence of exclusively physical sunscreens (micronized Titanium Dioxide) allows the formation of a barrier that guarantees adequate protection of the scar from the sun's rays, which often causes poor healing and possible darkening.
The Allium cepa (onion) extract, with a high content of quercetin and its glucosides (in a guaranteed quantity greater than 10%), promotes the correct healing process, as well as reducing redness and itching of the tissue in formation. The presence of allantoin contributes to the soothing effect of the formulation on the scar.
On particularly thickened scars Kaloidon TiO2 can also be applied in compression.

How to use
It must be used after the removal of stitches on intact skin. Apply a light layer of product to clean, dry skin, two or more times a day, in an adequate quantity to cover the affected surface. Use is recommended before exposure to sunlight. It is also recommended to use Kaloidon TiO2 continuously for at least 2 months on newly formed scars; on already developed scars and keloids it is recommended to continue the application for 3-6 months, possibly with compression.

Warnings
The use of the product is contraindicated in case of proven hypersensitivity towards the components. For external use. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the neck of the tube is missing).

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place and away from heat sources.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
Post-opening validity: 12 months.
