Advanced dressing for the management of dermatitis caused by rubbing between skin surfaces (intertrigo) and is made of a polyester fabric coated, on both sides, with a thin layer of polyurethane. InterDry releases silver ions with an antibacterial and antifungal action through a patented complex (Alphasan).
The polyester fiber fabric drains and allows the humidity to evaporate. present between the skin folds; the soft polyurethane layer prevents and manages chafing irritation; the Alphasan complex releases silver ions in a continuous and controlled manner for up to 5 days and provides an antimicrobial and antifungal effect against microorganisms commonly found in skin folds. The activity is antimicrobial helps to reduce the formation of bad odors.
Indicated for the protection and treatment of skin damage in correspondence with skin folds and/or other contact areas and for use on the skin between two areas skin contact, in the presence of obvious or potential inflammation and/or irritation due to perspiration and friction. It can be held in place during Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams.
Mode; of use
Check the instructions contained in the product packaging, to learn about its use, indications, precautions, warnings, storage method and other useful information. If the skin irritation does not improve or gets worse over time, it is advisable to speak to a doctor or other healthcare professional
Dry gently (do not rub) before applying InterDry the skin in correspondence with the skin fold.
With a clean pair of scissors, cut out the desired size, leaving a 5 cm margin to facilitate drainage and evaporation of absorbed liquids.< /span>
Insert a sheet of tissue, without folding it on itself, into the skin fold, positioning the edge at the base of the fold. Evenly spread the rest of the tissue on the skin.
Remember to leave at least 5 cm outside the skin fold to facilitate moisture drainage.
Secure the tissue between the skin folds, or fix it with an adhesive strip, or block it under clothing.
Do not use the product in combination with other solutions.
