Indications
Carpo-metacarpal osteoarthritis ( CMC) of the first ray of the hand (thumb).

Main function of the medical device
The medical device provides stabilization of the thumb.

The medical device provides pain relief and provides functional improvement in case of carpo-metacarpal osteoarthritis.

Features
Double rigid splint for the relative immobilization of the first hand radius. Comfortable padded lining. Strap at wrist level and elastic tabs at thumb level with hook and loop closure. Ambidextrous.

How to wear
Insert your hand into the orthosis in such a way that the splint is in line with the thumb and that the last phalanx is free. Tighten the strap on the wrist using the hook and loop closure to obtain a firm but comfortable support. Pull the tabs with the hook and loop closure, wrapping them around the thumb, so that one passes between the thumb and forefinger from the dorsal side to the palmar side and the other in the opposite direction. Then secure the tab using the velcro closure.

Store in a dry place away from excessive heat and light.

Washing instructions
Wash by hand in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring out gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
