The orthosis can be worn in a variety of sizes. be used for both the right ankle and the left ankle.
Positioning
Adjust the distance between the two shells, at heel level, by acting on the lateral rods of the heel. Apply the shell to both sides of the ankle so as to cover the malleoli. The strap must be located on the outside of the leg. The direction of closure of the straps must be be clockwise for the right ankle and counterclockwise for the left ankle. If necessary, rotate the buckles appropriately to orient the straps towards the correct side. Apply and tighten the lower strap, slip the foot wearing the orthosis into a spacious and stable shoe (the shoe must be adjustable with laces or self-adhesive closure). Adjust the shoe closure. Apply the upper strap. After a few days of use, the straps can become loose; in this case, re-tighten properly. If a localized disturbance appears, loosen the straps and reposition the shells.
