STERILE SOLUTION
Thanks to the possibility; to make a contact glass adhere to the cornea, by means of said solution, É possible to explore the iridocorneal angle and the fundus. É it is also possible, always using the Gel 4000, to carry out the following interventions with the laser:
- iridotomy;
- iridoplasty;
- trabeculoplasty;
- capsulotomy:
- vitreolysis;
- retinal photocoagulation.
Using the Gel 4000 solution on the probe, ultrasonography of the ocular globe can finally be performed.
Mode – How to use
The product should not be used more than thirty days after first opening the container. The use of the product É reserved for the ophthalmologist.
Features
é a 2% sterile aqueous solution of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose corresponding, at a temperature of 20°C, to a degree of viscosity; equal to 4000 cPs (centipoise). The Gel 4000 é characterized by the following properties; chemical-physical:
- é perfectly transparent;
- é soluble in water in all proportions;
- does not form insoluble precipitates with metal salts or organic residues that may be present;
- é stable at pH between 2 and 13.
Components
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; sodium chloride; sodium methiolate; sterile purified water.
Format 30 ml.
