Flebostax

Flebostax cream gel is a phytocosmetic preparation designed to give immediate relief in case of perception of swelling, heaviness and fatigue of the lower limbs; Has been formulated with plant extracts such as escin, derived from the fruit of horse chestnut, butcher's broom, ivy and troxerutin, useful for restoring the natural sensation of lightness in legs and ankles.
The product also contains essential oil of peppermint in able to give a pleasant, delicate but prolonged sensation of freshness.
Troxerutin: it is a bioflavonoid contained in many varieties of plants, mainly extracted from the flowers of Sophora japonica. It has rheological, venotonic and vasoprotective properties. It is able to decrease blood viscosity, improving venous insufficiency and capillary stasis, thus preventing the excessive passage of the liquid component of the blood to the tissues, thus limiting the formation of edema (anti-waterproofing and anti-edema action). It is part of a group of molecules, the rutosides, used to provide relief from symptoms due to the lymphatic circulation of the lower limbs, counteracting the edema caused by venous insufficiency. Troxerutin contributes to the modification of venous tone and reduces the capacity of filtration at the capillary level, leading to a reduction and reabsorption of edema, and therefore of swelling in the legs.
Butcher's broom: the extract is presented in the form of a dark-colored powder and is obtained from the rhizome of the Ruscus aculeatus plant, belonging to the Liliaceae family. The root of Ruscus aculeatus mainly contains steroid saponins (ruscogenins), which have been shown to possess trophic and protective properties at the level of blood vessels, as well as a marked tonic action on the vessel wall which results in an evident improvement in peripheral microcirculation. Butcher's broom extract is often used in cosmetics for the treatment of sensitive skin affected by capillary fragility and couperose. Thanks to the properties carried out at the microcirculation level, it is particularly suitable for tired, swollen and heavy legs affected by venous insufficiency and stasis.
Aescin: main active component contained in the horse chestnut fruit (Aesculus hippocastanum). Aescin is a saponin that exists in two distinct molecular forms: aescin-alpha and aescin-beta, distinguished by their melting points, specific rotations, haemolytic activities and solubility in water. The beta form of escin is considered the active component responsible for vasoconstricting, venotonic, anti-inflammatory and soothing activity. Aescin is traditionally used in the symptomatic treatment of functional disorders of cutaneous capillary fragility and as a remedy in case of venous insufficiency (heavy legs). In fact, aescin is able to limit the neoformation and reduce edema; the anti-edematous effect is linked to a selective vascular permeability, which causes an increase in venous and arterial tone. While the venotonic property of aescin is due to the stimulation of prostaglandins inside the vessel wall.
Ivy: the extract of common ivy (Hedera Helix) is naturally rich in flavonoids, polyacetylenes, saponins, sterols, vegetable acids (caffeic acid), mineral salts and calcium oxalate. Thanks to the synergy of its constituents, this extract is able to perform various actions, in particular it confers vasoconstrictive, astringent, anti-cellulite and soothing effects. It is useful for counteracting venous insufficiency, by virtue of the anti-fatigue and soothing action, and to reduce swelling of the ankles. In cosmetics, ivy is highly appreciated for its toning and draining effects which it is able to produce on the deeper layers of the skin. Thanks to the numerous active substances contained, it is able to visibly reduce and limit the formation of skin imperfections linked to cellulite and water retention.

How to use
Apply with a light circular massage, from the ankles towards the thighs. It can be used several times a day, whenever necessary.
