Epitact Thumb Immobilization Brace

Indications
It is recommended to use the immobilization brace in case of thumb trauma ( acute phase): benign / medium-sized sprain, contusion.
The brace may; be worn in case of inflammation of the metacarpophalangeal joint and in the postoperative phase.

The Epitact brace perfectly immobilizes the thumb in a straight position, while ensuring maximum comfort thanks to the semi-rigid anatomical reinforcements.
The total opening allows to facilitate the insertion of the thumb when positioning the brace.
Thanks to the reinforcements developed to adapt perfectly to the morphology of the thumb, the immobilization orthosis offers maximum comfort and rigid support.

Contraindications
Traumas requiring orthopedic treatment with plaster, resin or surgery.
The brace must not be placed directly in contact with an injury cutaneous.

Composition
61% fabric (polyamide, elastane, polyurethane), 39% elastomeric thermoplastic.
