Diet Food Milk Fever Treatment

Energan Calcium is a high-tech paste rich in calcium and rapidly absorbed .
It can be used as a preventive measure for calcium intake at birth or as an accompaniment to the treatment of milk fever.
The peculiarity is that the highly active CaCl2 is finely dispersed and bound to carrier substances, which excludes irritation of the mucous membranes. Calcium propionate, on the other hand, releases its calcium only after a delay and thus acts as a calcium deposit.

Dosage
1 cartridge 2 - 6 hours before delivery (at first signs of birth),
1 cartridge 8-12 hours later.
Accompaniment to a treatment for milk fever:
1 cartridge 2 - 4 hours after treatment,
1 cartridge 8-12 hours later.
It is advisable to seek the advice of a feed expert before use.

Directions for use
1. Cut off the cartridge cap with a knife.
2. Invert the applicator supplied.
3. Insert the cartridge into the Energan dispensing gun.
4. Grasp the corner of the animal's mouth with your free hand.
5. Insert the cartridge into the mouth towards the back of the tongue; make sure the animal is not injured during the process. If injuries occur, administration should be discontinued and a veterinarian consulted.
6. When the handle of the dispensing gun is in line with the front teeth, empty the cartridge slowly enough for the animal to ingest the contents *.
* Administer only to animals with a normal swallowing reflex.
