Disposable medical device based on Macrogol 4000 and Honey for rectal use in enema.
It is indicated in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation in cases of intestinal irregularity or as a washing of the enteric tract in cases of preparation for surgery or special diagnostic investigations tics.
Macrogol 4000 is a polymer with lubricating and emollient activities, which exerts a laxative action thanks to its mechanism which consists in recalling water in the stool softening it, increasing the volume of the intestinal contents and promoting peristalsis and 'evacuation.
Honey with its mucus-like properties is able to recall water in the rectum, carrying out an emollient and humectant activity.

Modality of use
Remove the rectal cannula enclosed in the protective sachet package.
Remove the screw cap and screw the rectal cannula onto the bottle.
Grasp the bottle and gently introduce the cannula into the rectum , then press the bottle firmly.
A residue of solution is expected to remain in the bottle.
After dosing, remove the cannula and discard the empty bottle.
Remain hunched over until urgent need to evacuate.

Warnings
For correct use, follow the information on the package leaflet.
Do not use if hypersensitivity or individual allergy towards one or more components is present.
Do not use for prolonged treatments.
After a short period of treatment without appreciable results and in case of persistent constipation it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other pathologies.
The enema is disposable, therefore each bottle must be used for a single administration.
