Adjuvant for the treatment of hemorrhoidal pathology

It is an adjuvant gel for the treatment of hemorrhoidal pathology, intended to alleviate the typical symptoms such as pain, itching, burning and irritation.

Thanks to the film-forming properties of its components, it exerts a protective action (barrier effect) on the skin and anal mucosa, preserving the area from the harmful effects of external agents.
Furthermore, thanks to the properties of its components it is able to keep the pH unchanged and reduce oxidative stress in the anal area. Thanks to these characteristics, Emorsan® Gel is also useful after proctological surgery, to promote the natural resumption of ordinary activities and physiological healing.

Ingredients
Aqua, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Isohexadecane, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone, Squalane, Cyclopentaiutoxane, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Benzoic Acid, Lactic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Chamomilla Recutita Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, P. acnes Lysate.

Warnings
Before use, carefully read the information provided by the manufacturer. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Discontinue treatment if any side effects occur. If symptoms persist after treatment it is advisable to contact your doctor. The use of the product in combination with other topical treatments for anal application is not recommended. Do not swallow. Do not apply in other districts than those indicated. Store in a dry place, at room temperature and away from heat. Do not use the product if the packaging is open or damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and stored correctly. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Contraindications and precautions for use
The medical device is not indicated for subjects with known hypersensitivity to the components present in the formulation. The product has not been tested during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. During pregnancy and/or breastfeeding, the product must be used only if clearly necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor

Instructions for use
Wash your hands with a neutral detergent before use.
Wash the affected part carefully and delicately, preferably with a specific intimate cleanser.

How to use
Open the vial with a rotating movement, until tear off the cap. Apply the contents of an ampoule with your finger, distributing it evenly in the perianal area. Massage delicately.
Do not use any residual product contained in a previously opened vial.

To reduce the risk of cross-contamination, it is recommended not to share the device with other users
It is recommended to apply Emorsan® Gel 2 times a day until symptoms remit or disappear. Apply the product for the necessary period, until the symptoms disappear and in any case for a period not exceeding 20 consecutive days.
The residues of the Emorsan® Gel medical device can be considered as household waste and disposed of in accordance with current legislation.
The components must not be dispersed into the environment.
