Bruxism is the involuntary, often unnoticed act of clenching or grinding one's teeth during sleep. Recent studies demonstrate the high diffusion of this disorder, from which approximately 50% of the world population suffers. Due to the contraction of the masticatory muscles, bruxism can cause rubbing and consequent wear of the two dental arches and a series of negative consequences such as headaches and cervical problems. The only remedy recognized as effective is the bite: a mask which, placed between the two dental arches, protects the teeth and relaxes the muscle groups.

Dr.Brux is the innovative and self-modelling bite, capable of replacing the resin plates normally made by the dentist with high costs and long waits. Made with a special biocompatible thermoplastic material, with two programmed hardnesses. The first to give stability and comfort, the second for the support surface, in order to facilitate the slippage of the teeth during grinding and to have greater resistance to wear.

Using Dr.Brux is extremely easy
Just immerse Dr.Brux in boiling water for a few seconds and insert it into your mouth, to obtain a "personalized" bite. which adapts as if it were an imprint to the teeth, thus obtaining perfect stability and excellent comfort. Thanks to the "calibrated" occlusal thicknesses which help to bring the jaw into a resting position, the relaxation of the muscle groups is facilitated. The thickness of the bite creates an elongation of the muscles and therefore a reduction in the forces exerted by the masticatory muscles, effectively carrying out a stretching action during the sleep phases.

Ask your dentist for advice before using Dr. Brux: in case of marked dental or gingival dysfunction in the presence of fixed or mobile orthodontic appliances:
Do not throw away the adaptation device because, should your dental situation change, you can always reshape (up to a maximum of 10 times) the bite without its physical-mechanical characteristics altering.
Never wash the bite with boiling water and avoid storing it near heat sources.
