Dicogel Gastro 200ml

Medical device for oral use indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux in infants and children.
Thanks to its components of a polysaccharide nature, Dicogel gastro forms a viscous mass with a barrier effect in the gastric environment which prevents the ascent of gastric juices into the esophagus, preserving the integrity of the esophageal mucosa and preventing the appearance of reflux symptoms (vomiting, regurgitation , heartburn or burning sensation, acidity, cough, etc.).

How to use
Shake the bottle well before use.
Administer according to the doses reported below or according to medical advice.
Newborns weighing up to 5 kg: 1 ml of product, 5-10 minutes after feeding (up to 10 ml per day).
Children up to 3 years of age, over 5 kg in weight: 4 ml after main meals and 2 ml before bedtime.
Children aged 3 years and over: 10-20 ml to be divided throughout the day, after main meals and before sleeping.
In case of regurgitation after administration, take an additional dose.
To administer, unscrew the cap by pushing it downwards and turning it anti-clockwise; insert the syringe into the hole in the undercap; turn the bottle upside down, holding the syringe firmly; gently pull the plunger allowing the syrup to flow into the syringe up to the mark corresponding to the desired dose; put the bottle back in a vertical position and remove the syringe by rotating it gently; insert the tip of the syringe into your mouth and apply slight pressure on the plunger to make the syrup flow out. After use, wash the syringe with warm water. Once dried, place the syringe in the packaging sachet.

Components
Water, magnesium alginate, sodium hyaluronate, natural strawberry flavour, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, steviol glycosides.

Gluten-free.

Warnings
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product or in case of intestinal obstruction. The concomitant use of thickening agents (rice starch, corn starch, carob, etc.) is contraindicated.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
Consume the product within 20 days of opening the bottle.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes after use. Do not inhale.
When using the product, it is advisable to consult your doctor. In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use if the package is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.
The product may appear more or less viscous and/or with modest variations in color and taste which do not indicate an alteration in the quality of the product.

Conservation
Store in the original packaging at room temperature below 25 °C and above 10 °C, in a dry place away from light.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in intact packaging.
