Dexeryl emollient cream is designed to meet the needs of chronic patients.
Dexeryl emollient cream is It is a product (to be applied to intact skin) indicated in all cases of persistent dryness of the skin, both pathological and physiological in nature.
It can be used as a sole aid or in conjunction with other therapies according to the doctor's instructions or the pharmacist.
The particular technology allows a significant quantity of water to be inserted into the product which binds to the glycerol and is made rapidly available on the skin surface (saturated glycerol).

The film-forming substances (paraffin and vaseline) then have the task of stabilizing the water supplied to the skin, limiting evaporation.
This simple mechanism of action makes Dexeryl emollient cream a useful product in forms of persistent xerosis.

Emollients are useful in chronic inflammatory skin diseases which present significant xerosis as a fundamental sign (e.g. atopic dermatitis).
Emollients, in association with the pharmacological therapy prescribed by the doctor, are optimal adjuvants in:

Ingredients
Glycerol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, glycerol monostearate, stearic acid, dimethicone, macrogol 600, trolamine, acrylamide/acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, isohexadecane, polysorbate, pentylene glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, carbomer, purified water.

How to use
Apply a thin layer of cream to the areas of skin to be treated once or twice a day, or more frequently if necessary, but never more than 6 times a day.
