COMPOSITION
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), Hyaluronic acid sadistic salt ( NaHA), Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), Methyl-B cyclodextrin (MBCD), Tribasic potassium citrate monohydrate, Sodium chloride, Glycerol, Citric acid monohydrate, Dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, Monobasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, Purified water, in isotological physiological pH solution .

CHARACTERISTICS AND MECHANISM OF ACTION
DEFLUXA È a sterile, isotonic ophthalmic solution at physiological pH consisting of palmitoylethanolamide (lipid molecule), hydrophilic and moisturizing polymers (hyaluronic acid sadistic salt, polyvinyl alcohol and cyclodextrin), glycerol (molecule with a humectant and osmoprotective action) and mineral salts.
DEFLUXA È able to rebalance the homeostasis of the ocular surface and to reconstruct the tear film in all cases of qualitative-quantitative alterations also resulting from chronic treatments with topical ocular drugs with hypotensive action. In particular, DEFLUXA stabilizes the Lacrimate film and maintains the lubrication of the ocular surface by reintegrating the three layers of the tear film: lipid, aqueous and mucin.
PEA, a natural lipid molecule, integrates the layer lipid content of the tear film (the most external) avoids the over-evaporation of water and helps to maintain a protective tear layer on the ocular surface. The hydrophilic and moisturizing polymers present in DEFLUXA (hyaluronic acid, polyvinyl alcohol, cyclodextrin) retain water and reintegrate the aqueous layer of the tear film. Hyaluronic acid also exhibits activity; mucomimetic and mucoadhesive; È able therefore Ò to interact with the mucin layer and to stabilize it. Glycerol has a humectant and osmoprotective action and the minerals (sodium, potassium, chloride, citrate, phosphate) have a nutritional function of the ocular surface as well as a pH and osmolarity regulation function.

< strong> INDICATIONS
DEFLUXA stabilizes the tear film, hydrates, lubricates and protects the ocular surface in all cases of qualitative and quantitative alterations of the tear film also resulting from chronic treatments with topical ocular drugs with hypotensive action.

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF USE
Hold the single-dose container upright above the eye and gently lower the lower lid.

Fig. 2 Lightly tap the single-dose container for a few seconds (like a clinical thermometer) until all the preparation reaches the neck of the container.

Fig. 4 Keep the single-dose container upright above the eye to instill the preparation.
Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye up to 5 times a day, according to the specialist's opinion, by lightly squeezing the single-dose container . It is recommended to keep the single-dose container in vertical position (as shown in Fig. 4 ) during instillation.

MODALITIES À STORAGE AND VALIDITY
- Do not use the product after the period of validity; reported on the box. This period refers to the product kept at room temperature (& le; 25 & deg; C).
- Keep the product away from light, keeping the single-dose containers in the aluminum bag.
- DEFLUXA < / strong> does not contain preservatives. Therefore the single-dose container and any unused residue must be disposed of after opening and use. After opening the single-dose container, the sterility requirements they are no longer Ù guaranteed.

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS
- Wash hands before use.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity; specific to one of the components of the product.
- Do not ingest the solution.
- Do not instill into the eye at the same time as other ophthalmic products since É could alter the effects, it would be necessary to observe an interval of at least 15 minutes between one instillation and the next.
- It is not; intended for use with contact lenses.
- Do not use in children under 3 years.
