Antireflux food supplement, useful in cases of pharyngolaryngitis caused by gastroesophageal reflux (GERD).
          ;     Sodium alginate
é; a chemical compound formed from the sodium salt of alginic acid, with minimum formula NaC6H7O6. Extracted from the cell walls of algae, it looks like a gum. It has numerous uses both in the food and in the pharmaceutical field. Once ingested, the suspension formed by sodium alginate reacts with the hydrochloric acid present in the stomach, forming a covering of the consistency of an alginic acid gel at the level of the cardia. This gelled structure of sodium alginate, with pH characteristics close to neutral ;, floats on top of the food present in the stomach, effectively preventing gastroesophageal reflux.
              Sodium bicarbonate
Sodium hydrogen carbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate or monosodium carbonate (or sodium bicarbonate which is the more common name, but which has been deprecated by the IUPAC) is; a sodium salt of carbonic acid. Unlike carbonate, hydrogen carbonate retains a hydrogen ion of the corresponding acid.
              Melatonin
é; an epiphyseal hormone, also secreted by extraglandular tissue. Experimental studies on animals indicate that the hormone increases the concentration of aminobutyric acid and serotonin in the midbrain and hypothalamus and increases activity; pyridoxal kinase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of aminobutyric acid, dopamine and serotonin.

Ingredients
Thickeners: sorbitol; sodium alginate; acidity regulator; citric acid; sodium bicarbonate; flavorings; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweetener: sucralose; melatonin.

Modality; of use
Take one sachet a day after meals to dissolve in water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.

Storage
